The workshop is a two-day event.

The draft agenda for the workshop (as at January 2022) is:

Day 1 (Thursday, 7 April 2022)
Traditional Owners and their supporting staff/organisations will gather to discuss what co-design means to them and what it should look like in regard to the new laws. This begins with sharing their stories to help identify, unpack, and understand complex challenges, and will continue through an ongoing process of designing effective and appropriate solutions, and identifying future possibilities.

Day 2 (Friday, 8 April 2022)
Traditional Owners invite other relevant stakeholders to join them to discuss and establish an agreed-upon co-design framework for the ongoing management and protection of their cultural heritage under the ACH Bill and its related supporting documents that are yet to be developed.

Critical to the workshop’s format is equitable representation and participation from all key stakeholder groups to ensure informed discussion that leads to negotiated outcomes. More details will be provided to interested participants closer to the date.
